Here at Synergy Chiropractic Center, we offer more than the adjustment to our patients.  We offer a combination of chiropractic with massage. 

CHIROPRACTIC:

Chiropractic is a health care discipline that emphasizes the inherent recuperative power of the body to heal itself without the use of drugs and/or surgery. Chiropractors specialize in the evaluation and treatment of structural (bony) imbalances in the body, with emphasis on the spine and nervous system.  Doctors of chiropractic correct these imbalances (misalignments) through controlled adjustments - a hands on technique using carefully directed force and pressure.

MASSAGE:

Massage Therapy is a manual approach to healthcare that works with the connective tissue and muscles of the body.  Massage therapists can specialize in many different fields - Relaxation (Swedish), Cranial Sacral, Deep Tissue...Therapists may also incorporate heat/ice treatments, stretching, joint mobilization, and hot tub sessions.

First Time Visit:

As a Synergy Chiropractic patient, you will start with the appropriate paperwork, which is then followed by a complete evaluation, history and appropriate treatment for your condition.

First visits can last 1-1½ hours and can include the use of therapies such as electric stim, ultrasound, heat/ice and massage.

Recurrent Visits:

Recurrent visits consist of appropriate therapies, massage and adjustments.  Visits can last 30-45 minutes depending upon severity and any improvements documented.  Visits typically decrease in number over time dependent upon patient needs.
